Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade)
Toppings
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained Ensure it's fully drained to prevent a soggy pizza.
  • 8 oz corned beef, sliced Can be substituted with pastrami or turkey.
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Thousand Island dressing Add more if desired for extra flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds Optional, but adds authentic Reuben flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and a pizza stone if you have one.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Spread a generous layer of Thousand Island dressing on the dough.
  4. Evenly sprinkle Swiss cheese over the sauce, followed by sliced corned beef and drained sauerkraut.
  5. Sprinkle caraway seeds on top if desired.
Baking
  1. Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
Serving
  1. Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For optimal pizza, use pre-made dough for convenience. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
