- Start by melting the Velveeta cheese in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
- Once the cheese is melted, add the diced tomatoes (with their juices), milk, cooked onion, and taco seasoning. Stir until well combined and bubbly.
- Taste the dip and adjust seasonings as necessary.
- Pour the dip into a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Notes
If the dip is too thick, add a splash more milk. Feel free to spice it up with jalapeños or chorizo.
