- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well incorporated.
- Stir in the pecans until they are well coated with the filling.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for about 60-70 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- Once done baking, let the pie cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store-bought crust is acceptable. This pie tastes better the next day if stored in the fridge. Optionally, swirl in a bit of bourbon for extra flavor.
