Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, garlic, ketchup, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish. Make a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top.
Cooking
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once baked, let it rest for about ten minutes before slicing.
