Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces lobster tails Fresh or frozen, thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Use high-quality butter for best flavor
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed lemon wedges For serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. With a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
Garlic Butter Mixture
  1. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well.
Cooking
  1. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat, reserving some butter for later.
  2. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and opaque. Broil them for the last 2 minutes for a golden hue.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and drizzle remaining garlic butter over the tails. Squeeze fresh lemon juice for extra flavor.

Notes

Watch the lobster closely while cooking to avoid overcooking. Serve with a light salad or garlic bread to soak up the butter.
