Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 4 slices Bacon or sausage if preferred
  • 2 slices Toast whole grain or sourdough
  • 1 cup Fresh Fruit your choice—berries, banana, or whatever looks great at the market
  • Butter for toasting
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
Optional Toppings
  • Cheese cheddar, feta, or whatever you like
  • Avocado slices
  • Herbs parsley, chives

Method

Cooking the Ingredients
  1. Cook the Bacon: Start by frying your bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it's nice and crispy. This lovely aroma will make your kitchen smell like heaven even before you sit down to eat! Once done, place it on a paper towel to drain the grease.
  2. Scramble Those Eggs: In the same pan, crack your eggs into a bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and whisk them until they are a beautiful yellow. Pour them into the pan and gently stir until they are soft and fluffy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Toast Time: Now, while the eggs are resting, let’s get that bread toasted. You can do this in the toaster or on the stovetop with butter for that extra crispy goodness.
  4. Get Colorful with Fruit: Slice up your preferred fruits and arrange them artfully on your platter.
  5. Assemble Your Platter: Arrange the bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, and fresh fruit on a large plate, adding any optional toppings you prefer.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!: Gather everyone around the table and dig in!

Notes

Feel free to personalize your platter to your liking. Swap out bacon for turkey bacon or try a plant-based sausage for a vegetarian twist. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days and reheat gently in the microwave.
