Preparation
- Cook the breakfast sausage links according to the package instructions. Once they’re nice and golden brown, set them aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles, laying them out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Dip a sausage link into the egg mixture, then place it at the wide end of a crescent triangle. Roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides. Repeat for all sausage links.
Baking
- Bake the rolls in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, drizzle with maple syrup if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to swap out sausage for a vegetarian alternative. You can prep these rolls the night before and bake them in the morning.
