Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Add in the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well using a mixer or whisk.
- Gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Stir in the boiling water to create a moist batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
