Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mixing
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Combining
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden.
Cooling
- Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
