Create the Crust
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, chopped pecans, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until everything is well blended.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully integrated.
Layer It Up
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust and spread it evenly.
- Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer.
Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate the cheesecake lush for at least 4 hours (or overnight for the best taste).
- Before serving, sprinkle extra chopped pecans and whipped cream if desired.
