Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  3. Carefully fold in the cherry pie filling, being mindful not to break up the cherries too much.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or individual cups and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  5. When ready to serve, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top as a finishing touch.
