Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped spinach, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with your hands.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs, creating about 12-16 meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through, aiming for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  2. Optional: Broil for the last 2-3 minutes to get the cheese bubbling and golden brown.
  3. Serve meatballs with marinara sauce drizzled on top or for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different types of meat or use plant-based alternatives. You can also prepare the meatballs in advance and refrigerate or freeze them for later use.
