- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped spinach, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with your hands.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs, creating about 12-16 meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through, aiming for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Optional: Broil for the last 2-3 minutes to get the cheese bubbling and golden brown.
- Serve meatballs with marinara sauce drizzled on top or for dipping.
