Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped artichokes, shredded cheese, cream cheese, and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until about 1/8 inch thick. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles and place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each piece.
- Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and pinch the edges to seal. Crimp edges with a fork if desired.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving; pair with a dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
You can prep the filling the night before and store it in the fridge. Don't overstuff the pastries to prevent mess.
