Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle ½ cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Layer on the pepperoni, followed by the remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan.
- Add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough and tuck in the edges.
- Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Make a few diagonal slits on top of the dough.
- Sprinkle a bit more cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
- Let the Cheesy Pepperoni Stromboli rest for about 5 minutes.
- Cut into generous slices and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.
