Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 1 package 1 package (about 1 pound) of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Flour for dusting For rolling out the dough
For the Filling
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Marinara sauce (for dipping) Use your favorite marinara sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle ½ cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  4. Layer on the pepperoni, followed by the remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan.
  5. Add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  6. Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough and tuck in the edges.
  7. Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Make a few diagonal slits on top of the dough.
  9. Sprinkle a bit more cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Let the Cheesy Pepperoni Stromboli rest for about 5 minutes.
  2. Cut into generous slices and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side.

Notes

Feel free to customize the fillings with different meats or vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
