  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough Easy to use store-bought dough.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to customize with other cheeses.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor enhancement.
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Or your favorite blend.
  • 1 large egg For brushing on the dough.
  • to taste none salt and pepper Essential for flavoring.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
  4. Take a strip of dough, sprinkle a bit of shredded mozzarella on one end, fold it over, and crimp the edges to seal.
  5. Shape the dough into a bone shape by tapering the ends.
  6. Arrange the bones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the bones.
  8. Sprinkle with garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  1. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
