Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Take a strip of dough, sprinkle a bit of shredded mozzarella on one end, fold it over, and crimp the edges to seal.
- Shape the dough into a bone shape by tapering the ends.
- Arrange the bones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the bones.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
