Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long to resemble bone shapes.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese along the center of each dough strip.
- Fold the dough strips over the cheese to form a 'bone', pinching the ends to secure.
- Beat the egg and brush it over each breadstick. Sprinkle with garlic powder and dried herbs.
Baking
- Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
- Let the breadsticks cool for a few minutes, then serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For fun shapes, use cookie cutters for different spooky designs. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
