Burger Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20) For the perfect balance of flavor and juiciness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices your favorite cheese (American, cheddar, or pepper jack) Mix it up!
  • 4 pieces burger buns Sesame or plain, you choose!
  • toppings of your choice: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, mayo, mustard, or any fancy sauces

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties slightly larger than your buns.
Cooking
  1. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  2. Flip the patties, add a slice of cheese on top of each, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the desired doneness is reached.
Assembling
  1. Toast the buns on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
  2. Place each cheeseburger patty on a bun and add your favorite toppings.
Serving
  1. Serve the burgers hot with fries or a side salad.

Notes

Prepare patties ahead of time for quick cooking when you're ready to grill. Experiment with different cheeses or add bacon for extra indulgence.
