Ingredients
  

For the Burgers
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20) For juicy burgers
  • 4 slices cheese slices (American, cheddar, or your choice) Choose your favorite cheese
  • 4 slices white bread Keeping it classic!
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning
Optional Fixings
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • pickles
  • ketchup or your favorite condiments
  • mustard

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Shape the ground beef into four equal patties with a little indentation in the center.
  2. Sprinkle both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the burger patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and add cheese slices on top.
  3. Cook for another 3 minutes or until they reach your desired doneness.
Toasting and Assembly
  1. Lightly toast the slices of white bread in another pan until golden brown.
  2. Place each burger on a toasted slice of bread and top with your favorite fixings.
  3. Add the other slice of bread to create a sandwich.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, possibly with a side of fries or salad.
