  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Mix-ins
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans work great)
  • ¼ cup diced green onions
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Adds flavor depth

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and shredded mozzarella. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them until smooth.
  2. Add in the chopped nuts, green onions, parsley, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Mix again until everything is beautifully incorporated.
  3. Grab a piece of plastic wrap and spoon the mixture onto it. Use the wrap to shape it into a ball. Twist the ends of the wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  4. After an hour, unwrap the cheese ball and set it on a serving platter. Roll it in extra chopped parsley or crushed nuts for an eye-catching finish.
  5. Serve the cheese ball with a side of crackers, crunchy veggies, or pretzel chips.

Notes

Chill the cheese ball to help it hold its shape and enhance the flavors. Feel free to customize ingredients, such as adding diced jalapeños for a spicy kick. Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
