Ingredients
  

Flatbread Base
  • 4 pieces Flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing
Toppings
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups Cheese Mozzarella is a classic, but feel free to mix it up!
  • 1 cup Pepperoni
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 cup Onions Sliced
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A sprinkle for added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet, brush each with olive oil for a golden finish.
  3. Spread about ¼ cup of tomato sauce on each flatbread, leaving an edge for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
  5. Add your choice of toppings such as pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, spinach, or any of your favorites.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
  7. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden.
  8. Let it sit for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and prepped toppings for convenience. This recipe is great for using up leftovers.
