- Rinse your shrimp under cold water and ensure they are nice and dry.
- In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until the shrimp turn pink.
- Flip them over and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss in the chopped parsley.
Serving
- Serve your Cajun shrimp over rice, with crusty bread, or in a hearty salad.
Notes
Make it your own by adding your favorite spice blend like smoked paprika or cayenne. Don’t crowd the pan if doubling the recipe.
