Ingredients
  

Lobster Tails
  • 2 pieces lobster tails
Butter and Oil Mixture
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For basting the lobster.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil To mix with the butter for added flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavoring the butter.
Seasoning and Garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (to serve)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the lobster tails on a cutting board and cut through the top shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
Basting
  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the exposed lobster meat.
  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (around 1-2 minutes).
Cooking
  1. Transfer the lobsters (cut side up) to a baking dish.
  2. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the lobster tails.
  3. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, basting with the butter halfway through.
  4. Check that the meat is opaque and flaky; they are done.
Serving
  1. Remove the lobster tails from the oven, and serve garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.

Notes

Don't overcook to avoid a rubbery texture. Experiment with seasonings like red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for added flavor. A squeeze of fresh lemon just before serving enhances taste.
