Ingredients
  

For the Brownies
  • 1 box Your favorite brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box) Make sure to follow box instructions for baking.
For the Frosting
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for smooth mixing.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich and creamy frosting.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Adds flavor to the frosting.
  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips For added chocolatey goodness.
Optional Garnishes
  • Chopped Nuts For a delightful crunch, optional.
  • Whipped Cream For garnish, optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box.
  2. Bake the brownies in a grease-lined rectangular dish following the box instructions. Let them cool completely.
Make the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Layering the Cake
  1. Cut the cooled brownies into squares and layer half of them in a separate serving dish.
  2. Spread half of the cream cheese frosting on top. Repeat with the remaining brownies and frosting.
Chill
  1. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for about 4-6 hours.
Serve
  1. After chilling, cut into squares and garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate chips or nuts if desired.

Notes

You can add crushed candy bars or a splash of coffee in the frosting for different flavors. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
