Ingredients
  

For the Brownies
  • 1 box brownie mix Choose your favorite brand. Additional ingredients as per box instructions (usually eggs, water, and oil).
For the Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream Store-bought or homemade.
For Assembly
  • chocolate syrup For drizzling.
  • whipped cream For topping.
  • crushed walnuts or chocolate chips Added crunch, optional.

Method
 

Baking the Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven according to the directions on the brownie mix box.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Pour it into a greased baking pan and bake for approximately 20-30 minutes.
Preparing the Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until airy.
Assembling the Parfaits
  1. Once the brownies are fully baked, allow them to cool completely. Cut them into small squares or crumble them.
  2. In individual serving glasses, layer brownie bits, then a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture, and repeat until filled.
  3. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glasses as you layer.
Topping Off
  1. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed walnuts or chocolate chips.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For fun, let kids help layer the parfaits. Mix chocolate chips into both layers for a chocolate overload.
