Method
Baking the Brownies
- Preheat your oven according to the directions on the brownie mix box.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Pour it into a greased baking pan and bake for approximately 20-30 minutes.
Preparing the Cheesecake Filling
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until airy.
Assembling the Parfaits
- Once the brownies are fully baked, allow them to cool completely. Cut them into small squares or crumble them.
- In individual serving glasses, layer brownie bits, then a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture, and repeat until filled.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glasses as you layer.
Topping Off
- Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed walnuts or chocolate chips.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For fun, let kids help layer the parfaits. Mix chocolate chips into both layers for a chocolate overload.
