Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Place the ham, flat side down, in a roasting pan.
Glaze Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and cloves until smooth.
- Brush the glaze all over the ham, saving a little for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Baking
- Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Uncover for the last 30 minutes to let the sugar caramelize.
Serving
- Allow the ham to rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Leftovers can be made into sandwiches or scrambled with eggs. To add zing, consider adding a splash of orange juice to the glaze.
