Preparation
- Preheat your broiler to high.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped parsley, then let it simmer for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
- With a sharp knife, carefully halve the lobster tails lengthwise. Place them cut side up on a baking sheet and drizzle some garlic butter mixture over the tails, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- On the same baking sheet, arrange the jumbo shrimp around the lobster tails and brush them with the remaining garlic butter, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Slide the baking sheet under the broiler for about 8-10 minutes, until the lobster meat turns opaque and the shrimp is pink and slightly charred.
Serving
- Transfer the seafood to a serving platter and garnish with lemon wedges. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over everything before serving.
Notes
Garlic butter may appear lumpy; reheat gently if it solidifies. For an impressive presentation, use kitchen shears to cut through the lobster shell and pull the meat on top.
