Preparation
- Preheat your broiler.
- Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the middle, exposing the meat while keeping the shell intact.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about one to two minutes, being careful not to scorch it.
- Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Optionally, add the chopped parsley.
Broil the Lobster
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them generously with the garlic butter sauce. Reserve some sauce for later.
- Broil for about 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
Serve and Savor
- Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the tops and serve. Pair with a fresh salad or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
Notes
Don’t worry about perfection! If the sauce looks a little lumpy, just whisk it a bit. For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce. Ensure the lobster reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
