Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh preferred
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Butter makes everything better
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Garlic is life
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice For a zesty zing
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional, but adds color
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your broiler.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the middle, exposing the meat while keeping the shell intact.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about one to two minutes, being careful not to scorch it.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Optionally, add the chopped parsley.
Broil the Lobster
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them generously with the garlic butter sauce. Reserve some sauce for later.
  2. Broil for about 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
Serve and Savor
  1. Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the tops and serve. Pair with a fresh salad or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.

Notes

Don’t worry about perfection! If the sauce looks a little lumpy, just whisk it a bit. For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce. Ensure the lobster reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
