- Add the beaten egg to the mixture and combine. Form the mixture into about four burger patties.

- Heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.

- To create the bowls, start with a base of cooked brown rice or quinoa. Top with a black bean burger and your choice of toppings.
