Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups cheese-filled tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or lighter milk.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish Optional, adds a fancy touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon—approximately 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. While your beef is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan, letting it melt and thicken.
  4. Gently toss the tortellini into the creamy beef mixture, ensuring every piece is well-coated. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
