- In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble the ground beef and add the chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, around 5-7 minutes. Ladle out any excess grease.

- Lower the heat and add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Introduce the tortellini to the sauce, stirring gently, and let it cook according to package directions (usually about 3-5 minutes) until tender and coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley, if desired.
