  • Extra barbecue sauce Optional for basting.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Pat the beef ribs dry with paper towels to avoid sogginess.
  3. Rub the ribs with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and cover them tightly with more foil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 2.5 to 3 hours.
  3. After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover them.
  4. Brush on a generous amount of barbecue sauce.
  5. Optional: Put them back in the oven uncovered for another 10-15 minutes.
Serving
  1. Slice between the bones and serve.
  2. Consider adding coleslaw or corn on the cob for a complete feast.

Notes

Slow cooking is key to tenderness. Watch the amount of sauce you use initially and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
