Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 1 pound ground turkey Fresh or frozen ground turkey can be used.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Canned cranberry sauce works well.
  • 1 cup shredded Havarti cheese Can be substituted with other cheeses if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 12 pieces slider buns
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, cranberry sauce, shredded Havarti, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties, about the size of your slider buns, and place them on a greased baking sheet.
Making the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, poppy seeds, parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Brush the topping mixture over the slider buns.
Baking
  1. Top each turkey patty with a slider bun and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground turkey for chicken or plant-based alternatives. Sliders can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. Extra cranberry sauce can be served on the side for dipping.
