Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste) for seasoning
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1 cup orange juice fresh is best if you’ve got it!
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey for that sweet touch
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Garnish (Optional)
  • fresh orange slices for garnish
  • fresh thyme for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Generously season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the orange juice, balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
Coat and Bake
  1. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish (skin-side up) and pour the orange balsamic glaze over the chicken.
  2. Bake for 35-40 minutes, brushing the thighs with glaze halfway through.
Final Touches
  1. Once the internal temperature reaches 165°F, remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh orange slices and thyme if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in the glaze for a few hours or overnight. For an extra crispy skin, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
