Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This is where the magic happens!
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet.
- Place the brie in the center of the pastry. Spoon the cranberry-pepper jelly on top of the cheese, and sprinkle your chopped pecans.
- Fold the pastry over the brie and seal the edges by pinching them together.
- Beat the egg and brush it all over the pastry.
Baking
- Place your wrapped brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry turns golden brown and puffy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme.
Notes
If your pastry is too soft, chill it for 15-20 minutes before using. Store leftovers tightly covered in the fridge, and reheat gently in the oven.
