Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll out any fold lines.
- Place the Brie in the center of the pastry and score the top lightly with a knife (optional).
- Spread the fig jam over the Brie and drizzle with honey.
- Drape prosciutto slices over the Brie.
- Fold the pastry up and around the Brie, sealing seams. Flip seam-side down.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Baking
- Bake for 20–30 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden. Check at 20 minutes.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving, then drizzle with more honey and garnish.
Notes
Room-temperature Brie melts best. Use leftovers for a refreshing meal, and refrigerate up to 2 days. The recipe is versatile: swap figs for apricots or skip prosciutto for a vegetarian option.
