Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out your thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
Assembly
- Place the wheel of brie in the center of your pastry sheet and spread the fig jam on top.
- Sprinkle the chopped prosciutto over the cheese.
- Fold the pastry over the brie, trimming excess edges if necessary, and pinch the seams to seal.
Finishing
- Brush the beaten egg over the dough for a golden color.
- Place the wrapped brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, drizzle warm honey on top, and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
