Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries, being careful not to over-mix.
- Using a small ice cream scoop or two spoons, drop the batter onto a greased baking sheet, leaving space between each dollop.
Baking
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
Notes
These bites can be frozen uncooked or baked. To bake from frozen, add a few extra minutes to the baking time. Feel free to experiment with different types of berries!
