- Toast the bread. Pop your slices into the toaster or oven until golden and crisp around the edges.
- Prep the avocado. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash it lightly with a fork, stirring in lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
