Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, sugar, and vegetable oil. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring they’re well incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually introduce the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples and sprinkle in the cinnamon.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serving
  1. Once baked, let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  2. Dust with powdered sugar, slice, and enjoy!
