Method
Preparation
- Start preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, whisk the egg with the water. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and almond slices.
- Cut the brie into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
Coating and Baking
- Dip each brie cube into the egg mixture, then roll it in the breadcrumb and almond mix until fully covered.
- Place the coated brie bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and melty.
Cranberry Honey Glaze
- In a small saucepan, mix together the cranberry sauce and honey. Heat over medium heat until warm and gooey.
Serving
- Once the brie bites are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a minute. Drizzle with the cranberry honey glaze and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Feel free to substitute almond slices with any nuts you prefer. You can prepare everything up to the baking step and refrigerate your coated bites for later, baking them straight from the fridge.
