Ingredients
  

Herbs and Spices
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves No stems, please!
  • 2-3 pieces green jalapeños Adjust based on spice tolerance.
  • 1 clove garlic Minced.
Creamy Base
  • ½ cup mayonnaise For creaminess.
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream Adds a delightful tang.
Finishing Touches
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by washing your cilantro and jalapeños. Then, chop them roughly.
  2. In a blender or food processor, add the chopped cilantro, jalapeños, and garlic. Blend until combined.
  3. Add the mayonnaise and sour cream to the mix. Blend again until smooth and creamy.
  4. Squeeze in lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Blend one last time until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes

You can store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Use as a marinade for grilled veggies or fish. For a milder version, remove seeds from jalapeños.
