Preparation
- Pat the pork joint dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture generously all over the pork joint.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned pork joint in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for about 25 minutes per pound, turning halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Once cooked, let the pork joint rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- Slice the pork joint, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.
Notes
For crispy skin, apply plenty of olive oil and spices. Leftovers can be used in stir-fries or sandwiches.
