  • 2-3 lbs pork joint (shoulder or loin) Choose shoulder or loin for best results.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Extra for crispy skin.
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust to preference.
  • to taste fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) Optional for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Pat the pork joint dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture generously all over the pork joint.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned pork joint in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for about 25 minutes per pound, turning halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  2. Once cooked, let the pork joint rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Serving
  1. Slice the pork joint, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.

Notes

For crispy skin, apply plenty of olive oil and spices. Leftovers can be used in stir-fries or sandwiches.
