Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes

This recipe combines tender steak bites and crispy potatoes, all coated in garlic butter goodness, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients
  

For the Steak and Potatoes
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Substitute with chicken or tofu if desired.
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Divided into two tablespoons for potatoes and two for steak.
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced Half for the potatoes, half for the steak.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning Or herbs of your choice.
  • to taste Chopped fresh parsley for garnish Optional, but adds a nice pop.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, half the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until fully coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the steak bites with the remaining melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. After 10 minutes, add the steak bites to the air fryer basket with the potatoes and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, shaking every couple of minutes.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once everything is golden-brown, remove the basket and sprinkle with fresh parsley if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

For optimal crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results. Consider adding lemon juice or soy sauce for added flavor.
