Ingredients
  

For the Ribs
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray For greasing the air fryer basket
For the Dry Rub
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for added spice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Rub the dry rub mix all over the ribs, ensuring every nook and cranny is coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the ribs in the air fryer basket, cutting them in half if needed.
  2. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. Increase the heat to 400°F (200°C) for the last 5 minutes to crisp the ribs.
  4. Let the ribs rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting into them.

Notes

Store any leftover ribs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also reheat them in the air fryer.
