Preparation
- Wash and chop all vegetables and cook bacon until crispy.
Layering
- In a large trifle bowl, layer the ingredients in this order: lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, cucumbers, bacon, cheddar cheese, and finally green onions.
Making the Dressing
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and white vinegar until combined.
Assembling the Salad
- Spread the dressing evenly on top of the layered salad.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Notes
Make it a day in advance, just hold off on adding the dressing until ready to serve. Add olives or replace cheddar with feta for variations.
