  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice Citrus enhances the flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Chop fresh pineapple into chunks if using fresh; measure frozen pineapple if using.
Blending
  1. Add pineapple chunks, honey (or agave), and lime juice to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe dish and cover with a lid or plastic wrap.
  2. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours or until firm.
Serving
  1. Take the sorbet out of the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes to soften slightly.
  2. Scoop and serve, optionally garnishing with a mint leaf or lime slice.

Notes

If the sorbet is too hard, let it thaw slightly before scooping. For variations, use different fruits while maintaining the same proportions.
