Instructions

- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and include the vanilla extract.

- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
