- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix to combine.
- Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas. Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor!
