  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prep your vegetables ensuring consistent sizes for even cooking.
  2. Brown the sausage in a large oven-safe skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes.
  3. Sauté the onion in the sausage drippings until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Combine the sausage, potatoes, green beans, herbs, and chicken broth in the pan.
  5. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover, add cheese if using, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
