- 2 packages (14 oz each) cocktail smoked sausages (Lil Smokies)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup ranch seasoning mix (1 packet)
- 8–10 pepperoncini peppers, plus 3 tablespoons of juice from the jar
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or chives
Instructions
- Prepare your slow cooker by lightly coating it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add brown sugar, butter, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the mixture, then add pepperoncini peppers and their juice.
- Add the cocktail sausages to the slow cooker and stir until fully coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute turkey or chicken smokies and use coconut sugar instead of brown sugar.
